We have programs such as Jovem Aprendiz, aimed at the professional development of young people in the local community, which trains young talents aged between 16 and 24.
We invest heavily in the education of our employees with the Continuing Education Program, which qualifies teachers in our region. In partnership with ATG – Associação dos Trabalhadores da Goiasa, we also offer scholarships for technical qualification in the region's community.
We promote several Environmental Education actions, raising awareness and motivating Goiasa employees and the community to commit themselves with the environment in a conscious way. We carry out visits to schools in the region to reinforce the importance of preserving the environment in which we live, involving children and adults in this important task.
Finally, we count on the Associação dos Trabalhadores da Goiasa to promote the Sons e Tons Project, bringing culture and music to the community, among various actions.
Aware of its role in the local community and faithful to the purpose of contributing to a better and more inclusive society, Goiasa has projects focused on the development of the southern region of Goiás.
In cooperation with SESI and the Education Departments of Bom Jesus and Goiatuba, Escola do Saber offers continuing education for employees of Usina Goiasa and the community of Bom Jesus, Brejo Bonito and Meia Ponte, creating opportunities for personal and facilitating socialization.
The Continuing Education for Teachers project trains teachers from municipal networks in the communities of Bom Jesus and Goiatuba, through continuing education workshops with different topics. Eleven workshops have already been held, serving an average of 183 teachers.
Treinando is a Goiasa program aimed at recent graduates in the region, aiming to train and promote a more pluralistic environment in the company. In it, young professionals develop their talents in the most diverse ways, contributing to the company's transformation process, generating opportunities. Treinando prepares young professionals to assume future responsibilities in leadership positions and, thus, strengthens Goiasa's internal selection process. Annually, 25 young talents are developed in the initiative.
Technical visits are carried out periodically to present the Industrial and Agricultural Production Process of Goiasa to students from Elementary, Middle and Higher Education institutions. On average, 300 students make annual technical visits to the company.
Our premise is the adoption of a clear and direct policy of communication with customers, employees and stakeholders in our work in general. To this end, we have tools such as the Suggestion Urns in the surrounding locations, Institutional Website, Customer Service System (SAC), Ombudsman Channel (Contato Seguro), in addition to Social Media.
The donations are part of Goiasa's private social investment, carried out with its own resources. Among several initiatives, some actions were: donation of 1,350 liters of alcohol 70% INMP between 2020 and 2021, approximately 12 tons of sugar (crystal and organic) donated between 2018 and 2021, collection of non-perishable food and clothes for the philanthropic entities, computer equipment, household appliances and other materials.
